At HighLevel's annual LevelUp conference, over 300 new or improved features were released so we have a lot to cover...
Why It Matters
HighLevel expanded this year from 1,200 employees to over 2,000.
Many of the new releases were in critical platform areas like AI and workflows. That is a white-hot space right now and as always HighLevel moves fast.
What we're seeing is HighLevel evolving from a "CRM" into a full operating system for business. We're seeing capabilities that used to require hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars in people and tech available for just hundreds of dollars.
HighLevel ranked #1 this year for marketing automation platforms. That opens up a huge opportunity for HighLevel users and agency owners. The folks that learn, implement, and leverage the new features relevant to their customers the fastest will pull ahead.
One cautionary note: TEST them first :) A byproduct of shipping as fast as HighLevel does is that there will be bugs and issues initially. This is why most of the big features were released in Labs (beta) first.
It's tempting to take a quick look then turn them on for all your sub-accounts but I would NOT recommend that... I'm going to be spending much of next week in a test sub-account turning them on and recording deep dive videos for YouTube which we'll link to in future issues.
This Week's News:
Normally I'll put summaries and direct links to all the releases and news in this email for convenience but since there are so many this week I'll be linking to our LevelUp summary posts for the bulk of them then the releases from Thu to Fri are below as usual.
LevelUp Day 1 - All Updates
LevelUp Day 2 - All Updates
LevelUp Day 3 - All Updates
Bulk Prospecting with Google Maps – Faster, Smarter, and More Powerful
The Bulk Prospecting upgrade revolutionizes lead generation from Google Maps. Users can now perform keyword and location-based searches, draw from live map selections, and save up to 60 leads per search — triple the previous limit. Features include bulk saving, duplicate detection, and smart filters (by rating, GBP status, website, or score). The workflow integrates with automations to instantly follow up via email, SMS, or pipelines. This update turns Google Maps into a high-volume, precision prospecting engine.
PDF Customisation in Marketing Audit Reports
Audit Reports now feature full PDF branding customization for a polished, on-brand client presentation. Agencies can add names, contact info, and brand colors that sync between web and PDF versions. Borders and section headings now reflect chosen brand colors, giving reports a cohesive and professional look. Once configured, branding applies automatically to every new report — no repeated setup required.
Fully Customizable Notifications in Services
Services (Private Beta) now supports customizable notifications for every key booking stage — confirmations, reschedules, reminders, cancellations, and follow-ups. Businesses can choose recipients (customers or staff) and personalize templates using new service-specific custom values like name, duration, or add-ons. The system consolidates notifications for multi-service bookings into a single message to prevent duplicates. This makes client communication smarter, cleaner, and fully aligned with each service journey.
Services (v2) Enhancements
Services v2 introduces a series of user-requested improvements. Users can now hide prices, display amounts without payment providers, and enjoy auto-generated slugs for faster setup. The booking widget supports both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats and preserves the display order of service variants and add-ons. Together, these updates make the booking process cleaner, faster, and more flexible.
Services (v2) – Service-Level Form & Enhanced Free Slots
You can now assign service-specific forms that override global ones when booking individual services. This allows tailored data collection per service type. Additionally, free-slot logic has been revamped — only the first service in a multi-booking must align with standard intervals, while subsequent services flow seamlessly by total duration. The result: more bookable slots, simpler configuration, and a smoother multi-service experience.
Simplify Availability Management with Schedules
The new Schedules system centralizes staff and calendar availability management. Instead of configuring hours individually, users define reusable availability schedules that apply across multiple calendars. Each user now has a default schedule, and all legacy data was migrated automatically. This structured approach reduces repetition, improves clarity, and ensures consistent availability across calendars.
SMS Notifications Now Available for Calendars & Services
Calendars and Services now support SMS notifications for every appointment event type — confirmed, canceled, rescheduled, reminder, or follow-up. You can customize recipients (contacts, staff, or custom numbers) and use per-recipient templates for tailored messages. Test messages can be sent before activation to verify formatting and content. This helps businesses improve show-up rates and enhance communication flexibility.
Introducing Rentals (Private Beta) — For Flexible Multi-Day Bookings
The new Rentals module (Private Beta) adds powerful asset-based booking management for items like equipment, rooms, or vehicles. It supports hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly rentals with flexible pricing, variants, and inventory tracking. Businesses can handle multiple listings per checkout, apply security deposits, and collect payments automatically. A revamped calendar view centralizes bookings for easy management — ideal for event spaces, vacation homes, or equipment rentals.
PayPal Support for Calendars
PayPal joins the list of supported payment providers for calendar bookings, alongside Stripe, Square, and others. Once connected under Payments → Integrations, users can enable PayPal in their calendar settings and collect instant payments. It’s compatible with both classic and Services (v2) calendars, offering more payment flexibility. However, PayPal cannot be combined with Razorpay in the same setup.
WhatsApp Notifications Are Here for Calendars
Calendars now support WhatsApp notifications for all appointment event types, enabling businesses to message clients directly on one of the world’s most used platforms. Admins can choose recipients (contacts, staff, or others) and assign templates for each. Templates can be created, edited, and tested in real time before launch. This new channel improves response rates and ensures more personal, mobile-first engagement.
Taxes and Processing Fees for Services (v2)
Services (v2) now allows configuration of taxes and processing (miscellaneous) fees, matching functionality from other checkout flows. Businesses can define one-time surcharges or add custom tax rates to service-linked products. These charges display automatically during booking and appear in appointment modals for transparency. The result is consistent, professional billing and easier compliance with local tax rules.
Mobile App: Local Presence Dialing
The Local Presence Dialing feature is now live on mobile, automatically using a phone number that matches the contact’s local area code. This increases answer rates and builds trust by making calls appear familiar. The system includes city-level precision, international support, and smart fallback logic if local numbers are unavailable. A redesigned number picker provides transparency into assignments and types.
Mobile App – Recurring Appointments in Calendars
Recurring appointments can now be created and managed directly from the mobile app. Users can set up custom or standard recurrence patterns, bulk edit or delete series, and sync with video meeting links automatically. Advanced recurrence rules like “every second Tuesday” or “weekdays only” offer total flexibility. This brings mobile scheduling up to full parity with the web version.
Admin Team Notifications for Store Order Placement
Store admins can now receive instant order confirmation notifications via email or SMS when customers place an order. Admins configure notifications under Payments → Settings → Team Notifications → Order Confirmation for Stores. Templates and subject lines are fully customizable for both channels. This update ensures faster response times and smoother order processing for e-commerce teams.
Conversation AI: Multiple Calendars Support for Appointment Booking Action!
Conversation AI now supports multi-calendar appointment booking, allowing AI agents to intelligently detect and use the correct calendar automatically. Agents can book, reschedule, or cancel appointments across multiple calendars and even trigger workflows post-booking. A fallback calendar ensures no request is missed, and users can view routing details for transparency. This upgrade simplifies scheduling for multi-location or multi-team businesses.
