Small but mighty updates this week for GHL! You can tell that in many areas of the platform the development teams have all their major functionality in place and are able to move into the second and third tier of requirements, fit, finish, etc.
At least five of the updates below address limits or frustrations we encounter every week during builds and client work.
As always, please click at least one of the news items or reply to the message to make sure you continue to receive GHL NEWS!
From the GHL ecosystem, I wanted to highlight a free event this week from SearchAtlas, their AI Search Summit since there is only a day or so left to register.
In 5 days you’ll have a step-by-step process that improves your core SEO performance and teaches you how to show up in AI Answers so you stay ahead in both traditional search and the new AI-powered results.
Their free summits are better than nearly all the SEO courses I've seen and I'll be on this one following along!

This Week's News:
Multiple Calendar Appointment Booking
Voice AI can now intelligently book appointments across multiple calendars based on conversation context. The system uses conversational inference to determine the appropriate calendar - directing demo requests to demo calendars and pricing inquiries to sales calendars, with smart fallback handling when uncertain.
System Prompt Access
Power users now have access to the system prompt for Voice AI, allowing deep customization at the foundational level. This advanced feature includes a reset-to-default option for safety, but users should exercise caution as this provides direct access to the AI's core instructions.
Asana – New Actions & Triggers in Workflows
HighLevel now offers native Asana integration directly inside workflows, eliminating the need for Zapier, Make, or custom webhooks. Users can trigger workflows instantly based on real-time Asana events such as task updates, comments, project creation, and attachments. Workflows can also create and manage Asana tasks, projects, sections, comments, and subtasks from within HighLevel. This enables seamless cross-platform task automation and tighter alignment between CRM activity and project management. The integration works with both free and paid Asana plans and is powered by instant webhooks for zero delay.
Workflow Switcher: Faster, Smarter – Now Opens in the Same Tab
The Workflow Switcher has been upgraded for speed, focus, and efficiency by opening workflows in the same browser tab by default. Performance improvements significantly reduce load times, while infinite scroll makes browsing large workflow libraries easier. Users can now create, name, duplicate, or delete workflows directly from the switcher panel. These changes reduce context switching, minimize tab clutter, and make managing complex automation systems faster and more intuitive. The switcher is available in both Standard and Advanced builders.
Workflows: First Time User Experience Revamp
The Workflows landing page has been redesigned to help new users get started more quickly and confidently. The AI Builder is now front and center, allowing users to describe automations in plain language and generate workflows automatically. Users can also browse templates or start from scratch based on their comfort level. Existing educational videos remain accessible, ensuring learning resources are not disrupted. This update lowers the learning curve and accelerates first-time success with automations.
Instagram Reels – Share to Feed Toggle
Social Planner now includes a “Share to Feed” toggle for Instagram Reels, giving users control over whether reels appear on the main feed or only in the Reels tab. The toggle defaults to ON to match existing behavior but can be turned off for reel-only strategies. This helps maintain feed aesthetics while still publishing short-form video content. Users can avoid accidental feed clutter and better align Reels with their content strategy. The setting is applied directly within the post composer.
UI/UX Improvements for Copy Actions in Workflows
Copying and pasting workflow actions is now more intuitive with visual paste guides that clearly show where actions will land. A new quick re-paste option allows users to paste the same action multiple times without re-copying. The “Actions Copied” notification now auto-hides to reduce interface clutter. These refinements make building and refactoring workflows faster and less error-prone. Overall, the update improves clarity and efficiency when reusing automation logic.
Smarter, Richer Submit Message Editor and Preview
The “On Submit” message for forms, surveys, and quizzes has been fully upgraded with a rich text editor and live preview. Users can now format messages with fonts, colors, emojis, and structured headline-plus-subtext layouts. Device-specific styling allows different designs for desktop and mobile, including background blur effects and layout controls. The new preview ensures accurate visual validation before publishing. This transforms the submission screen into a more branded and intentional user experience.
Smarter Styling, Richer Editing, and Device-Specific Controls for Forms, Surveys & Quizzes!
Form, survey, and quiz builders now support richer inline text editing and fully separate desktop and mobile styling controls. Users can customize text, layout, padding, borders, and backgrounds independently for each device. Mobile-specific text content enables shorter headlines or alternate copy optimized for small screens. Live previews across all builders provide instant feedback while editing. These improvements make responsive design easier without additional technical effort.
Call Dispositions: Set and Choose Call Outcome and Trigger Workflows
Call Dispositions allow reps to select a custom outcome immediately after a call, which can then trigger workflows. Admins can create and manage up to ten dispositions per sub-account, and workflows can filter based on the selected outcome. This enables cleaner automation logic compared to relying solely on call status. Dispositions are saved to the contact record and will support reporting and filtering. The feature increases call efficiency, automation accuracy, and operational visibility.
Manual Reviews: Live in Reputation (Labs)
Manual Reviews allow businesses to add customer feedback collected outside integrated platforms directly into Reputation. Users can enter reviews individually or bulk upload them via CSV, including ratings, text, dates, sources, and attachments. Manual reviews appear alongside fetched reviews and support filtering, AI summaries, and widget display. This enables a complete and unified review presence regardless of where feedback originated. The feature is available in Labs and enhances flexibility in reputation management.
Enhanced CSV Exports for Transactions, Orders & Subscriptions
Payment-related CSV exports have been significantly improved with clearer tax handling, product-level detail, and consistent formatting. Exports now accurately distinguish between inclusive and exclusive taxes, partial payments, discounts, and payment methods. Product line items include pricing, quantities, discounts, and tax allocations for better financial reconciliation. Zero and blank values are handled correctly to prevent reporting errors. These upgrades support accounting accuracy, audits, and BI integrations.
In-App Upgrades Now Available for SaaS v2
Clients can now upgrade their SaaS plans directly from within their account, regardless of payment provider. Upgrades apply instantly, granting immediate access to higher plan features, with billing updates occurring at the next cycle without proration. Supported providers include Stripe, Square, NMI, and Authorize.net. This removes friction from plan upgrades and supports scalable MRR growth. Agencies gain a smoother, provider-agnostic upgrade path.
Inbound DND Support for Workflows
Workflows now support inbound Do Not Disturb controls, extending automation beyond outbound communication. Users can apply DND rules specifically to inbound calls and SMS, helping prevent spam-driven contacts and false opportunities. Direction control is available on both triggers and actions, while existing configurations remain unchanged. Results are visible on the contact’s DND tab. This adds a critical layer of inbound communication control and automation precision.
Historical Wallet Usage Receipts & Invoices
Agencies can now download monthly Wallet Usage Receipts or Tax Invoices dating back to January 2024. Every billing month now includes a downloadable document, eliminating gaps in financial records. Bulk invoice emailing allows multiple invoices to be sent at once for faster communication. Backend optimizations improve invoice generation speed and reliability. This update delivers clearer reporting and consistent documentation for billing operations.
Multiple Watermarks in Social Planner
Social Planner now supports multiple watermarks, allowing users to assign different logos to each social account. Watermarks can be uploaded, named, previewed, edited, or deleted from a centralized settings area. Users can apply a single watermark across all accounts or customize per brand. This is especially valuable for agencies managing multiple clients. The feature ensures consistent branding while saving time during content publishing.
New: Choose When Complimentary Credits Are Issued — After Trial or On Sign-Up
SaaS owners can now control whether complimentary usage credits are issued at sign-up or after a trial ends. This applies to one-time, recurring, and rollover credits. The change protects paid features during trials and aligns credit issuance with billing cycles. It also simplifies financial forecasting and credit management. The setting is available in the SaaS Configurator under Trial & Credits.
Social Planner – Threads & Bluesky Analytics
Social Planner now includes analytics for Threads and Bluesky, expanding visibility into emerging platforms. Users can track posts, impressions (Bluesky), likes, comments, and engagement trends over time. These metrics are accessible alongside other social analytics for consolidated reporting. The update helps teams identify early growth signals and optimize content strategy. It also strengthens client and executive reporting across new channels.
Blogs – Enhanced Blog Post Preview
Blog posts now support an enhanced preview that accurately renders custom HTML, CSS, JS, embeds, and widgets. Draft posts include a public, shareable preview link for easier collaboration and approvals. The preview opens in a new tab and mirrors the final published appearance. This reduces guesswork and post-publish fixes. The update significantly improves confidence and efficiency in content publishing workflows.
