Smarter AI Assistant
AI Builder in Workflows
New Integrations
This week’s updates show HighLevel continuing to make AI more practical, safer, and easier to use inside real workflows.
The AI Builder now supports undo and redo, handles more complex If/Else edits, and gives better workflow answers, which means users can experiment with AI-assisted automation without feeling like one bad change could break the whole flow.
The bigger picture is that AI is becoming less of a standalone assistant and more of a built-in operating layer for building, editing, troubleshooting, and improving automations faster.
Array Formatter: Now Free to Use with Smarter UI!
Array Formatter (formerly Array Functions) is now free to use, billed at $0 as a standard execution rather than a premium action. The action panel has been refreshed with clearer descriptions, muted icons, return types, and output previews so users can see what each operation produces. Workflow behavior is unchanged. The result is a more predictable, more transparent way to format webhook arrays without worrying about double-charging.
Smarter AI Assistant Responses in Workflows
The AI Assistant inside workflows now delivers more accurate, relevant answers across a wider range of queries by sourcing responses more effectively. Queries that previously received incomplete or no responses are now handled correctly. The improvements are continuous rather than a one-time update, so coverage will keep expanding over time. This reduces reliance on manual support and improves the in-product help experience.
Undo/Redo support for AI Builder in Workflows
The AI Builder in workflows now supports Undo and Redo via Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y (Cmd+Z/Y on Mac), letting users instantly revert or restore any AI-generated change within a session. Every version is preserved in the undo history and the recent changes tab shows the activity timeline. This removes the main risk of iterating with AI — accidentally losing a working state — so users can experiment freely and roll back instantly when needed.
Complete If/Else Edit Support in AI Builder for Workflows
The AI Builder now fully supports adding, removing, and updating branches, segments, conditions, operators, and values inside If/Else logic. Multi-level edits and compound requests (such as adding a condition and changing an operator together) are handled in a single request, and ambiguous instructions on complex nodes now prompt for clarification instead of failing silently. Edit type and target identification have also improved, eliminating misclassification issues. Together, these changes make conditional logic editing significantly more reliable.
Fixed: Duplicate workflows created from snapshots
A bug where two workflows could be created in the target location when loading from a snapshot has been resolved. Locks have been added so that only one workflow is created per origin and location, even when duplicate requests arrive simultaneously. This prevents both duplicate workflows and extra workflows getting stuck in the Processing state. Snapshot loads are now more reliable across the board.
Cal.com: Workflow Actions & Triggers
Cal.com is now natively integrated into the Workflow Builder with full booking lifecycle triggers (Booking Created, Rescheduled, Cancelled, Meeting Ended, OOO Created/Updated) and four actions (Create, Cancel, Reschedule, and Find Booking). All triggers fire within 1–3 seconds via webhook, and the rich payload exposes booker URL, times, attendees, organizer, and event metadata for downstream use. This enables programmatic scheduling, no-show recovery, cancellation save flows, and recording distribution without third-party glue. All triggers and actions are premium and currently in Beta.
Pricing Update: SMS & Voice Costs (Effective May 13, 2026)
Due to carrier partner pricing changes, SMS and Voice rates for several international routes are increasing starting May 13, 2026. Affected SMS destinations include Costa Rica, Grenada, Kenya, Namibia, and Zimbabwe, while many countries (Austria, UK, Germany, India, Ireland, Switzerland, and others) see updates to inbound or outbound voice minute rates. These changes reflect downstream carrier and telecom infrastructure adjustments needed to maintain reliability and deliverability. Users should review impacted destinations to plan for the cost shift.
Linear: Workflow Actions & Triggers
Linear is now natively integrated into the Workflow Builder with twelve instant triggers and thirteen actions spanning issues, projects, customers, customer needs, initiatives, and documents. Triggers fire within seconds via webhook, and actions enable two-way linking, attribution-rich customer needs, and revenue-weighted product prioritization. Common patterns include capturing customer bugs as fully tagged Linear issues, auto-notifying reporters when their issues ship, and converting sales call transcripts into structured product feedback. All components are premium and currently in Beta.
Chat Widget Registration — Smarter Compliance Check Before Submission
During Chat Widget registration, the compliance review now actively scans the user's website to confirm the Lead Connector chat widget is installed. If the widget is missing, users see a clear in-modal prompt with step-by-step guidance to paste the script and re-run the check before resubmitting. This catches one of the top recurring rejection reasons at the point of submission and dramatically reduces back-and-forth on Chat Widget campaign approvals.
Delete & Restore Blog Posts
Deleting a blog post no longer removes it permanently — the post is now marked Deleted, hidden from the main list, and fully recoverable for 30 days. A dedicated Deleted filter lets users view, restore, or permanently delete posts as needed, including bulk restore. This prevents accidental content loss, removes the need to file support tickets for recovery, and gives content teams a safer, more confident workflow.
Introducing Visual Edits in Ai Studio
Ai Studio now offers Visual Edits — a click-to-edit canvas mode for changing colors, fonts, spacing, images, and icons directly in the live preview without writing prompts. Direct edits like color swaps, spacing tweaks, and inline text changes apply instantly with zero LLM calls, preserving token usage for prompts that actually need AI. The mode includes a 1,600+ Lucide icon picker, the project's theme palette, image layout controls, and multi-select editing with shared prompts. Users save or discard changes before they hit code.
Improved App Approval Discovery & Auto-Approve Controls
App Marketplace permission management is now surfaced upfront with dedicated Approved Apps and Disapproved Apps tabs, plus an auto-approve toggle for LeadConnector apps. The redesign eliminates the prior multi-step navigation needed to reach approval settings and adds search and filter capabilities. Agencies can now manage app permissions, configure auto-approve rules, and onboard trusted apps with far less friction.
Bluesky Comment Management: Now in Social Planner
Bluesky is now part of Social Planner's unified inbox, letting users view and reply to Bluesky comments without switching platforms. Replies support emojis and threaded conversations up to three levels deep, and comments auto-sync every six hours for the latest 15 posts. The 300-character reply limit and text-only format mirror Bluesky's native experience. This brings Bluesky engagement into the same workflow as other social channels.
Schema Markup: Extended Schema Type Support
The manual Schema Markup module now supports seven additional schema types — Offer, Review, Aggregate Rating, Recipe, ImageObject, Service, and Course — expanding parent-level support from 12 to 19 across Websites and Funnel Pages. Users can pick a type from the dropdown and fill in fields via form or JSON view, then click Validate & Save. The expansion gives e-commerce, food, education, and service businesses richer structured data for better Google rich results and AI search visibility. Existing schema markups are unaffected.
Chat Widget Public APIs
Chat Widgets can now be created, listed, fetched, updated, and deleted programmatically via Public APIs, with current support for Live Chat and Email Chat types. The APIs include flexible listing (including UI-created widgets), filtering capabilities, and clear validation errors for unsupported chat types. This enables agencies and SaaS builders to automate widget creation across many locations and integrate Chat Widgets into onboarding flows and external systems. Support for additional chat types like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Voice AI is on the roadmap.
Quiz Enhancement
The Quiz Results Page builder gains new customization controls and a more polished editing experience. You can now adjust the results page width, add a background color or image, and selecting a section auto-scrolls the preview. A clearer empty state appears when quiz categories haven't been set up, and a new "How Scoring Works" link explains scoring inline. The improvements make it easier to build branded, on-layout quiz experiences with less confusion.
Dynamic "me" filter + primary contact notes in Opportunities
Opportunities now supports a dynamic "me" filter for Owner and Follower fields that automatically resolves to the logged-in viewer, available in both Advanced Filters and Smart Tags. Additionally, Primary Contact Notes can now be added as a sortable, resizable column in List view, surfacing all notes from each opportunity's primary contact without clicking into the record. Together these updates remove the need to build separate filter views per user and speed up pre-call prep and daily triage.
Discounting on Phone Number & Messaging Pricing – Effective 6th May, 2026
To offset Twilio's recent global rate increases, HighLevel is applying discounts to several impacted SKUs starting May 6, 2026. Discounts include Australia Mobile Numbers (21.21% off), UK SMS Outbound (6.42% off), UK Toll-Free Numbers (20.37% off), and Portugal Mobile Numbers (a substantial 88.89% off). These reductions help minimize the cost impact on customers while keeping pricing aligned with carrier realities.
Manage Purchases Now Available on GoKollab
GoKollab now includes a centralized Manage Purchases area where users can view memberships, enrolled courses, and payment history in one place. Dedicated tabs for Communities, Courses, and Payment History support invoice downloads, payment method visibility, and direct membership management like leaving a community or course. This gives users cleaner account organization, easier billing access, and better visibility into their digital purchases.
Blocked Slots for Rental Listings
Rentals now supports Blocked Slots, letting you reserve time for maintenance, internal use, or offline commitments without creating a customer booking. Blocked slots reduce availability like regular bookings and can optionally apply to specific variants and quantities. Slots are clearly visible in Calendar View and can be created, edited, or deleted instantly. This gives rental operators precise inventory control across all booking flows.
Ai Studio - Deleted Projects Are Now Inactive
Deleting a project in Ai Studio now automatically marks all associated preview URLs, domains, and published URLs as inactive. Previously, deleted projects left their pages live with no way to take them down. The change ensures that removing a project cleanly removes its public footprint, eliminating a long-standing gap in project lifecycle management.
Custom Metrics — Now with Filters, Meta Ads & Google Analytics Support
Custom Metrics now supports filters on individual metric tokens (segment by tag, pipeline, owner, agent, and more), adds Meta Ads and Google Analytics as native data sources, and opens in a full-page builder instead of a modal. Users can build segmented KPIs like win rate by sales rep or cross-channel metrics like Cost per Opportunity directly inside HighLevel. This eliminates spreadsheet exports and unlocks revenue, conversion, and acquisition analytics in one place. Available to all accounts with no plan restriction.
Google Lead Form - Accurate Attribution & New Activity
Google Lead Form submissions now record Session Source as Paid Search instead of being miscategorized as Paid Social, and the full Campaign, Ad Group, and Ad details are captured. A new "Google Lead Form Submission" contact activity surfaces the originating campaign, ad group, ad, and form name in the activity timeline. This delivers accurate paid-channel reporting, full campaign visibility, cleaner activity feeds, and better automation targeting. The fix applies to new submissions going forward.
Embedded Voice AI Widgets - Orb display
Voice AI widgets now support a new Embedded/Inline placement option alongside the default Sticky mode, letting you render the widget inside page content. Embedded widgets support Avatar or Visualiser display modes, with Visualiser including configurable Small/Medium/Large interface sizes and a CTA below the avatar. Users get inline embed snippets (div/iframe) from the Get Code panel for direct placement on landing pages and funnels. This unlocks non-intrusive, conversion-focused voice experiences with design flexibility.
Introducing New Templates
A new template release adds a Creative website, a Restaurant email, a Beauty & Fashion form, five Facebook ad templates, five Google ad templates, and five LinkedIn ad templates across industries from real estate to hospitality. A new Wellness Retreat snapshot is also included. The templates streamline asset creation across funnels, email, and paid social.
AI Agent Action - Call Transcript Tool, Feedback Flow & Stability Improvements
The AI Agent action now includes a built-in Call Transcript tool that accesses a contact's call history with no configuration required — simply reference call transcripts in the agent prompt. Combined with the existing conversation history tool, the agent now factors both chat and voice interactions into its responses. A new structured feedback flow inside execution logs lets users flag what went well or wrong on every run, feeding accuracy and goal-alignment improvements. Several bug fixes round out the stability work.
AI Builder in workflows now more powerful
The Workflow AI Builder has been fully rebuilt as a transparent, streaming, context-aware copilot with a step-by-step progress card showing exactly what it's doing. Users can submit compound requests (rename, add a wait, toggle re-entry) in a single turn, the AI retains full session memory, and chat-mode questions can be converted into one-click builds. Other upgrades include session continuity across panel close, context-aware empty states, real-time streaming Learn Mode 2.0, and architecturally enforced white-label safety. The new extensible foundation means future capabilities can ship without pipeline rewrites.
Conversation AI - Separate Controls for Bot Sleep on Manual vs Workflow Messages
The "Send bot to sleep when I send a" setting is now split into two independent controls — one for manual messages sent by a user and one for workflow-triggered messages. This lets users pause the bot during human interventions without affecting automated workflows, or vice versa, supporting hybrid manual-plus-automated communication strategies. Existing setups continue to behave as before unless users update the new settings. Reactivation timing remains configurable as before.
Social Planner: Add Thumbnails in CSV Posting
CSV and XLSX bulk uploads in Social Planner now support a thumbnailUrl field that automatically applies a custom thumbnail to the first video in each post during upload. Updated sample templates include the field, making it easy to get started in the right format. This improves click-through rates, maintains brand consistency across bulk uploads, and saves teams from setting thumbnails one post at a time. Note that thumbnails apply only to the first video per post.
Snapshots for contact page customization
Custom contact page views can now be included in snapshots and copied across sub-accounts, expanding the earlier Labs release that introduced up to five custom views per sub-account. Admins can transfer custom views between sub-accounts without rebuilding them, then push updates to linked accounts in one motion. This standardizes contact layouts at scale and saves significant manual setup time across multi-account deployments.
Smart Sending Ramp-Up for New Agencies on Shared Domains
New agencies signing up on or after April 27, 2026 with GHL Shared or Agency Shared domains are now automatically enrolled in an 8-stage sending ramp-up system. The platform evaluates bounce rates, spam complaints, AUP violations, and send volume on every check, automatically graduating clean senders to higher limits and demoting senders with issues — all without manual intervention. A live Sending Limit panel shows daily limit, sent today, remaining volume, current stage, and a full history timeline. Existing agencies are unaffected; a migration plan is coming by end of Q2 2026.
Insights is now Dashboards on the Mobile App
The mobile app's Insights module has been replaced with a full Dashboards experience, bringing every web dashboard to mobile with real-time data parity. Users can switch dashboards, apply quick filters and date ranges, expand widgets, drag across charts to read exact values, and tap into widget-level AI insights — all from their phone. Campaigns has also been broken out into its own dedicated module. The feature is in Labs now with general access rolling out in roughly 14 days.
Badges in Client Portal
Badges now have a dedicated tab in the Client Portal where users can view all earned badges in a clean layout and download or share them like certificates. This gives badges equal visibility alongside certificates and makes them easier to find and showcase. The change helps recipients celebrate achievements and amplify them externally with minimal friction.
Add Notes Action in Custom Object Workflows
Workflows for custom objects now support the Add Note action, letting teams automatically save notes directly to custom object records. This captures updates, context, and important details on records like projects or assets without manually returning to them. Note title and color support will follow once those are natively introduced in Custom Objects. The change extends the same note-management benefits enjoyed by contacts to the records teams build their business around.
Add Notes Action Enhancements: Now with Titles & Note colors
The Add Notes workflow action for contact notes now supports optional note titles and note colors, matching the recent Contacts notes enhancements. Existing workflows continue working unchanged because the new fields are optional. The update lets teams add richer context and visually organize workflow-created notes for cleaner contact records.
App Marketplace - Introducing Uninstall Feedback
When users uninstall an app, they can now share structured feedback by selecting predefined reasons like pricing, bugs, missing features, usability issues, or (for agency users) whitelabel breach. An optional detailed input field captures additional context, and submissions are anonymous to encourage honest responses. The data helps the Marketplace team improve app quality and reliability and identify common issues faster. Quality signals on apps are coming next.
Certificates & Badges — Editing Improvements
The Certificates and Badges editor now highlights elements on hover, resizes from the dragged edge or corner for predictable adjustments, supports standard text shortcuts (Ctrl/Cmd + B/I/U), and lets users paste cleanly from external tools like Docs without formatting issues. Together, these refinements make designing certificates and badges faster, more precise, and more intuitive with fewer formatting headaches.
Daily Snapshot Import Summary (Labs)
A new Labs feature delivers daily summaries of Shared Snapshot import activity through both in-app notifications and email digests. Users can pick exactly which Shared Snapshots to monitor and receive detailed breakdowns of where, how often, and by whom snapshots are being imported. This gives snapshot owners much better adoption visibility and ensures snapshots are being used as intended.
Improved Sales Pages for Communities & Courses
GoKollab sales pages have been enhanced for Communities with an auto-cycling media carousel that supports images and YouTube/Loom/Vimeo videos with no manual sync needed. Courses sales pages now include a structured curriculum view with modules, lessons, and thumbnails for a clearer preview before enrollment. Together these updates make listings more engaging and help visitors understand offerings faster, improving the path to conversion. More discovery improvements are on the way.
Meeting Room: Seamless Rejoin & Smarter Host Controls
Meeting Rooms now survive unintentional disruptions: sessions stay active when the host disconnects, and hosts can instantly rejoin without ending the meeting for attendees. New host controls clearly separate "End Meeting for All" from "Leave" (which prompts host reassignment), and the original host automatically regains privileges when they return. Designed to handle refreshes, network drops, and permission issues, the experience is now significantly more reliable for live sessions.
LinkedIn ad campaign templates via Template Library
LinkedIn campaigns can now be created from templates inside Ad Manager, and existing LinkedIn campaigns can be uploaded into the Template Library for reuse. The Template Library's Ad Manager tab now includes LinkedIn alongside Google and Meta, with objective-based filtering that surfaces LinkedIn-supported objectives like Lead Generation and Website Visits. This delivers a unified multi-platform template workflow, faster campaign launches, and scalable sharing of high-performing LinkedIn strategies across agency locations.
Conversations: Marketplace App Source Now Visible in Messages
Messages sent through Marketplace Apps or custom providers now display the sending app's name and ID inside Conversations message details. Previously, there was no clear way to identify which app sent a given message, making troubleshooting and integration management harder. Opening any conversation and clicking a message reveals the app name and ID for OAuth-connected Marketplace Apps. This delivers full transparency into message origin and significantly speeds up debugging.
