Welcome to GHL NEWS! In Today's issue:

  • Contact merge improvements

  • A2P simplification

  • Google lead ads

  • Community enhancement

A light week of updates as we head into the holiday season. I'm happy to see the SaaS Configurator updates the last few weeks as in my agency we're pushing into some new markets in 2026 with our GHL SaaS.

Related, I'm in the middle of going through the white-label mobile app process so we'll have our own branded version of the HighLevel/LeadConnector app (ours is called ACCELERATE). There are a lot of steps to it but also a dedicated support team to help you get through all the hoops between Apple and Google app stores.

As always, please click at least one of the news items or reply to the message to make sure you continue to receive GHL NEWS!

This Week's News:

Workflow Builder: Right-click actions (fewer clicks, faster edits)

The Workflow Builder now supports right-click actions, allowing users to access common tools like copy, move, delete, and notes directly at the cursor. This eliminates the need to hunt for the three-dot menu and significantly reduces clicks during workflow editing. Users can also copy or move multiple actions at once, making larger refactors faster. The interaction mirrors familiar desktop app behavior, improving speed and usability. Overall, this update streamlines everyday workflow edits.

Contact Merge improvements: No more dropped executions

Workflow executions now continue seamlessly when contacts are merged, preventing automations from being interrupted or lost. If a merged contact was enrolled in a workflow, execution is automatically handed off to the master contact. Duplicate workflow runs are intelligently prevented when the master contact is already enrolled. Execution logs clearly record merge-related handoffs for traceability. This ensures clean automation journeys even when duplicate contacts are consolidated.

Easier Messaging Rules for the US, Canada & International – A2P Just Got Simpler

Messaging requirements across the US, Canada, and international routes have been simplified to reduce friction and setup complexity. Canadian domestic messaging now allows Persona verification in many cases without mandatory A2P registration, depending on number purchase date. US/Canada to international messaging also no longer requires A2P, relying instead on Persona verification. Domestic US↔US, US↔CA, and CA↔PR messaging still requires A2P for compliance. These changes improve deliverability while removing unnecessary restrictions.

Domain Transfer-Out

Users can now initiate domain transfer-outs directly from the HighLevel dashboard without contacting support. The system checks transfer eligibility automatically and guides users through registrar selection, unlocking, and EPP code generation. Authorization codes are securely emailed to the appropriate owners with safeguards against repeated requests. This feature gives users greater control over domain assets and reduces support dependency. Some TLDs and Cloudflare transfers still require support intervention.

Google Lead Ads integration

HighLevel now offers native Google Lead Ads integration, syncing leads directly into the CRM as soon as forms are submitted. Users can connect multiple ad accounts, map lead forms to CRM fields, and trigger automations instantly. This enables faster follow-up and centralized lead management without third-party tools. The integration was highly requested and supports workflow triggers for granular automation. It significantly improves response speed and lead handling efficiency.

Sender Domain Settings in Email Campaigns for LC Users

LC email users now have enhanced sender domain controls within Email Campaigns to reduce delivery failures. The system automatically corrects issues with shared or public domains and validates sender emails against selected domains. Users with multiple domains can choose which domain applies to each campaign, with clear UI alerts for misconfigurations. A quick-access link helps review domain settings without leaving the campaign flow. This update improves deliverability and adds flexibility to campaign setup.

Quality-of-Life Improvements in SaaS Configurator & Manage Client

Several usability improvements have been added to the SaaS Configurator and client management experience. These include a redesigned payment provider modal, a reliable discard button, clearer rebilling labels, and improved navigation after sub-account rejection. Long dropdowns are now scrollable, pagination was added to custom menu selection, and at least one feature must be selected before saving plans. Together, these changes reduce errors and improve clarity when managing SaaS plans. The result is a smoother and more predictable setup experience.

Media Storage Now Supported with Services (v2)!

Media Storage is now fully integrated into the Services (v2) module for Calendars, enabling centralized image management. Users can browse and insert images directly from Media Storage when editing services, add-ons, staff, locations, and booking assets. Integrated sources like Unsplash, Pixabay, and Google Drive are also supported. This eliminates repeated uploads and ensures consistent visuals across the services experience. The update speeds up setup and improves asset reuse.

Communities Enhancements – Disabling Mandatory profile modal

Community owners can now disable the mandatory profile setup modal for new members if they don’t want to enforce profile completion. The default behavior remains unchanged for those who prefer required profiles. Additional enhancements improve post formatting in email notifications, ensure more accurate calendar files for events, and introduce a new group name variable for event emails. Several visibility issues with private links and group descriptions were also fixed. These updates improve flexibility and polish across the Communities experience.

New Phone Number Availability Across Key Countries (2025 Update)

HighLevel expanded phone number availability across several countries in 2025, including France, Australia, Malaysia, Italy, Chile, Germany, and Japan. Local, mobile, and toll-free options are now searchable and purchasable directly through the Buy Number flow. The system now reflects true provider inventory, reducing false “no availability” results. This update improves global coverage while maintaining country-specific compliance rules. Businesses can expand internationally with greater confidence.

Smarter Slot Availability for Overlapping Appointments

Calendar availability calculations have been improved for calendars that allow multiple appointments per time slot. Overlapping appointments now reduce slot capacity incrementally instead of blocking slots entirely. Slots remain available until their true capacity limit is reached, improving utilization. The logic applies consistently across personal, round robin, and event calendars, as well as internal booking and public widgets. This results in more accurate availability and fewer lost booking opportunities.
