Welcome to GHL NEWS! In Today's issue:
Communities and Kollab updates
AI in Wordpress
GHL blocking your emails???
Quite a few updates this week! Several for Communities and Kollab both on the admin side with easier management of course access for members and on the Kollab app with performance improvements.
AI was enhanced in a couple of areas in particular bringing AI creation of WordPress pages.
One to watch out for is the Email Service Provider (ESP) Block update below. GHL will start enforcing temporary and eventually permanent bans of subaccounts that routinely exceed spam and reputation metrics.
That will be good for the platform deliverability overall for everyone but I suspect a lot of people will get caught out by this.
As always, please click at least one of the news items or reply to this message to make sure you continue to receive GHL NEWS!
This Week's News:
Workflows: Expanded Error Highlight feature
Workflow validation now covers significantly more triggers and actions, expanding error highlighting from 14 to 48 actions and from 26 to 28 triggers. Misconfigurations are flagged during save rather than during live execution. If-Else and Wait actions now receive deeper validation checks before publishing. Visual indicators in the builder make errors immediately visible. This reduces execution failures and increases confidence when deploying complex automations.
Deskphone-to-Deskphone Calling & Transfer
Deskphone users can now transfer IVR calls directly to another deskphone extension. Previously, IVR calls landing on a deskphone could not be handed off internally. Extension-to-extension dialing is also supported directly from deskphones. This improves internal call routing and team collaboration without relying on web or mobile apps. The update removes a key limitation in phone-based workflows.
AI Builder: Conversational Editing for If-Else & Wait Actions
AI Builder now allows conversational editing of If-Else and Wait actions without switching to manual configuration. Users can modify branches, update conditions, convert wait types, and adjust timeout logic using natural language. Existing downstream nodes remain intact during edits. This enables fully conversational workflow creation and refinement. Complex branching logic can now be built and optimized without leaving AI mode.
Voice Dictation in AI Builder & Assistant
AI Builder and Assistant now support voice input for workflow creation and queries. Users can speak naturally, and AI transcribes and generates the workflow automatically. Multi-language dictation is supported across all available languages. This reduces typing friction and speeds up automation ideation. It streamlines workflow creation from concept to launch.
Highlight Contact Path — Enhanced Visual Debugging
Highlight Contact Path now includes error visibility, skipped-node indicators, entry/exit markers, and in-progress tracking. Users can visually inspect exactly how a contact moved through a workflow. Errors and skipped steps are displayed directly in the builder. This provides full execution transparency for debugging and optimization. Teams can analyze automation behavior without guesswork.
New Email Template Update API
A new PATCH endpoint allows updating Email Builder templates and settings in a single API call. Subject, fromName, fromEmail, preview text, and editor content can now be modified programmatically. The payload structure has been simplified for cleaner integration. The endpoint remains backward compatible with existing behavior. This gives developers full control over template updates at scale.
Enhanced ESP Block Monitoring & Progressive Enforcement (AUP Update)
Sub-accounts exceeding acceptable ESP block thresholds will now receive warning notifications followed by temporary email sending suspensions if issues persist. Progressive enforcement includes 12-hour and 24-hour suspensions, with potential permanent restrictions in future phases. The system is designed to protect shared sender reputation and inbox placement. This improves deliverability stability across the ecosystem.
Update – Agency Setup (SMTP Clarification) in Email Services setup
The Agency Setup messaging for SMTP configuration has been clarified to reflect that Mailgun is the only supported SMTP provider. No functional changes were made. This update eliminates confusion during email service setup. It improves clarity without impacting existing configurations.
AI-Powered WordPress Page Builder
HighLevel now offers an AI-powered WordPress Page Builder that generates complete landing pages using guided prompts. Pages are created as fully editable Elementor layouts with customizable tone, color palettes, and content refinements. Each site receives monthly AI generation credits. Agencies can enable the feature via Labs for sub-accounts. This dramatically accelerates WordPress page creation without sacrificing design control.
Show Complete Product Titles
Product titles now display in full across key purchase stages including product detail, cart, checkout, and thank-you pages. Titles automatically wrap without breaking layout alignment. This improves clarity and customer confidence during checkout. The feature is enabled by default and requires no configuration.
Increase Products Per Page Count in Product List Page
Product List Pages now support displaying up to 100 products per page, up from the previous 24-product limit. This reduces pagination for large catalogs and improves product discoverability. Merchants can adjust the count via a layout slider. The update enhances browsing experience, especially on desktop.
Snapshot Load Retry
Snapshot pushes that fail can now be retried directly from Push History without recreating the entire push. Users can retry all failed sub-accounts or select specific ones within a 48-hour window. Version locking prevents retries when snapshots have changed since the original push. Live progress tracking keeps retry status visible. This reduces rework and simplifies recovery from failed deployments.
Listings - Duplicate Suppression Management
Duplicate Suppression enables automatic detection and removal of duplicate business listings across directories. Users can suppress confirmed duplicates or mark false positives directly from a centralized dashboard. Monthly scans and real-time status tracking provide visibility throughout the process. The feature strengthens local SEO and ensures brand consistency across platforms.
Split Business Hours & Flexible Scheduling
Listings now support split business hours, 24-hour operations, and “always open” configurations. Businesses can add multiple time blocks per day or copy hours across the week. This removes the need for external dashboards to manage complex schedules. The feature better reflects real-world operating patterns and improves customer clarity.
Conversation AI - Generate Conversation Summary & Transcript
Conversation AI can now automatically generate session-based summaries and full transcripts. Summaries trigger on inactivity or bot sleep events and can update contact fields, trigger workflows, or send notifications. Each summary reflects only the latest session and replaces the previous one. This enables auditing, insight extraction, and CRM automation based on AI conversations.
Kollab App – More Control, Better Playback, Stronger Security
Kollab mobile apps (iOS & Android v13.0.0) now feature faster video playback, richer lesson descriptions, improved live session stability, and stronger security controls. Admins gain greater control over course comments and tab visibility. Password updates now allow logout from all devices. Numerous performance and UI fixes improve overall reliability.
Configure payment provider by channel
Sub-accounts can now set default payment providers per channel, separately for Live and Test modes. Channel-level settings override global defaults and provide greater operational control. Supported channels include funnels, stores, invoices, courses, communities, and more. This allows agencies to route payments strategically without changing global configurations.
Configure Granular Permissions for Sub-Account Settings
Agencies can now define role-based permissions for sensitive Sub-Account areas such as billing, company settings, and client management. Read, write, and delete permissions can be controlled per role. This reduces accidental changes and improves governance as teams scale. The update strengthens security and operational clarity.
Communities Learning Tab - Private Course / Member-Specific Course Access
Community admins can now manually grant or revoke course access for individual members. A new Private Course type requires admin-granted access and cannot be unlocked automatically. Members receive email notifications when courses are granted. This enables VIP content, internal training, and invite-only programs with full control over learning access.
