AI Agent Updates
Courses Updates
Inbound Email Trigger
The AI updates from GHL keep coming non-stop! One of the big ones is that AI agents in the platform can now use MCP servers, which allow them to integrate with lots of different external systems. Then, as more and more external systems create MCP servers for accessing their functionality, that means AI agents will be able to connect to more and more over time.
Course has got some interesting updates with the ability to put funnel pages inside of the course platform, which is something I've been wanting them to do for a long time. That basically now you can have much more advanced layouts of content and media and things like that inside of your courses instead of just the default video player and a text description.
One question I haven't seen answered yet is whether you can then make those funnels not publicly accessible so that effectively you would have gated content inside of the course area. If that's not there already, I'm sure that'll be something forthcoming, because that's another one we've been asking about for a while.
Courses also have live streaming session capability now, just like was announced in Communities a week or two ago. Within a course, you can have live sessions, and those sessions become stored recordings and can become part of your course materials. For people that have Q&A calls or group calls or something like that related to their courses but they don't want to go to a full-blown community yet, this gives you a way to do it right inside your courses.

This Week's News:
Ask AI + WhatsApp: End-to-End Campaign Execution via Chat
Ask AI can now fully operate WhatsApp from a single conversational interface, including template creation, audience selection, sending, flows, and analytics. Users describe the outcome in plain English, and the system builds and executes campaigns with preview and approval safeguards. It supports bulk messaging, personalization, compliance checks, and real-time delivery tracking. The entire campaign pipeline can be executed in one prompt. This represents a major shift from manual workflows to conversational automation.
AI Agent Cost Optimization (Token Reduction)
AI Agent actions now use significantly fewer tokens without impacting output quality, reducing execution costs across workflows. Improvements include cleaner context inputs, removal of redundant data, smarter tool responses, and summarized conversation memory. Structured output handling has also been optimized to avoid duplication. Testing shows ~36% reduction on initial calls and ~20% overall. This directly improves scalability and cost efficiency of AI-driven automations.
AI Agent MCP Integrations (External Tools Access)
AI Agents now support MCP connections, enabling real-time access to external tools like search engines, browsers, and APIs, and workflows. Users can connect MCP-compatible servers, automatically discover available tools, and control access at a granular level. This expands agents beyond CRM data into a fully extensible ecosystem. It supports multiple authentication types and transport protocols. This effectively turns AI agents into integration hubs.
AI Agent Full Conversation Context Across Channels
AI Agents can now access a contact’s full conversation history across all channels including SMS, email, WhatsApp, and social DMs. The agent sees recent messages, metadata, and AI-generated summaries for long threads. This allows responses to reflect complete context instead of starting from scratch. The system automatically retrieves relevant conversation history when needed. It significantly improves continuity and personalization in automated interactions.
SaaS Mode: Location-Level Profitability Dashboard
A new Location-Level Breakdown widget provides visibility into revenue, costs, and profit margins per sub-account. Users can sort, drill down, and analyze performance trends with product-level and timeline views. The dashboard enables quick identification of high-performing and underperforming accounts. Pricing and rebilling configurations can be adjusted مباشرة from the interface. This adds operational control and financial transparency for SaaS resellers.
AI Studio: Context Persistence + Performance Improvements
AI Studio now supports larger context windows with compaction to retain important history without exceeding limits. Context is persistent across sessions, eliminating previous issues with lost continuity. UX improvements include more relevant “thinking” indicators and faster feedback. Clone performance has also been optimized for reliability. These updates improve consistency and usability for AI development workflows.
Communities: Newsletter Time Configuration
Communities now allow full control over newsletter send timing with daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedules. Admins can define exact send times and timezones based on audience behavior. This replaces the previous fixed default timing. The feature supports global audiences with timezone-aware delivery. It improves engagement through better timing optimization.
Calendar: Rental Booking UX Improvement
The rental booking flow now automatically aligns the end date picker with the selected start date’s month. Previously, users had to manually navigate between months, creating friction. This update removes that extra step and improves usability. It results in faster and more intuitive booking experiences. The change reduces drop-off in multi-day booking flows.
Workflow Builder: Drag-and-Drop Node Movement
Users can now drag and reposition workflow nodes directly within the canvas using a visual handle. This replaces the slower right-click move process for reorganizing workflows. The interface shows clear placement indicators during movement. It simplifies editing complex workflows significantly. This improves speed and usability for workflow design.
Inbound Email Trigger for Workflows
Workflows can now trigger from inbound emails, including cold outreach, replies, and new conversations. The trigger supports filtering by sender, subject, body, attachments, and more. It enables real-time automation for lead capture, support routing, and operational workflows. Custom values allow downstream personalization using email data. This brings email fully into the automation ecosystem.
Courses: Funnels as Lessons
Funnels can now be embedded directly in course lessons, creating interactive, action-driven learning experiences. Users can integrate forms, CTAs, and multi-step flows in the course player. Existing funnels can be reused without rebuilding. This bridges the gap between education and conversion in a single environment. It enables monetization and engagement within course content.
Courses: Tax Calculation at Checkout
Course checkout now includes automatic tax calculation based on billing address. Users see a clear tax breakdown before completing purchases. The system supports regional tax rules and both inclusive/exclusive pricing models. Coupons remain compatible with correct tax handling. This improves compliance and pricing transparency.
Courses: Live Sessions
Courses now support live sessions with scheduling, hosting, notifications, and recordings built-in. Creators can run one-time or recurring sessions with timezone support. Sessions appear in the course interface and can be managed or edited. Recordings can be reused as course content. This unifies live and recorded learning experiences.
Apify Integration for Workflows
Workflows now support Apify actions and triggers for scraping and data extraction without external tools. Users can run actors, fetch datasets, and automate enrichment داخل workflows. This enables use cases like lead scraping, competitor monitoring, and data enrichment. Integration is handled via API key connection. It expands automation into external data sources.
Snapshots: Company Association Support
Snapshots now include Company associations automatically during export and import. Previously, these relationships had to be recreated manually. The update ensures full schema portability across accounts. This reduces setup time and errors during deployment. It improves consistency when scaling systems.
