Why It Matters

If you are a HighLevel user or HighLevel curious (and not an agency yet), the SaaSPRENEUR workshop is a great way to learn more about the agency path and see if it's for you. I attended one of these four years ago or so and that started me on the path.

From this week's updates, the two trends are continued major UI improvements across different products like Snapshots, Courses, and the Kollab app and continued investments in Snapshots.

If you aren't familiar with Kollab, that is the mobile app for the client portal, courses, and communities. So your end customers can log into that to access any of those that you provide. There is also a branded mobile app where you can remove the Kollab branding ad use your own (that's what I do). Eventually the v2 mobile app will be available for customization.

Finally, the snapshot version control is a big one that used to take a lot of painful work arounds and naming conventions to handle but not becomes a lot easier.

Countdown Timers in WhatsApp Messages

You can now add Countdown Timers inside WhatsApp campaigns to create urgency and drive conversions. Timers can be fixed, recurring, or dynamic per contact, and automatically route users to active or expired pages based on timer status. This makes it easy to run limited-time offers, flash sales, or expiring discounts directly via WhatsApp. The feature is configurable under Labs and integrates seamlessly into existing WhatsApp templates.

YouTube Auto Token Refresh in Social Planner

Social Planner now supports automatic YouTube token refresh, eliminating the 30-day expiry issue. This enhancement significantly reduces posting errors and reconnection hassles. Once connected, users can rely on continuous, reliable YouTube publishing without manual renewal.

VERY happy about this one as one of our main services is the Content Engine where we help clients plan, edit, repurpose, and publish content across YouTube and all social channels. We use the GHL Social Planner and the need to constantly re-connect channels was a PIA... Glad it's fixed!

Community Users Now Load by Default in Social Planner

Community users now auto-load by default across Post Composer, RSS Feed, and Community Settings—eliminating waiting time. With infinite scrolling, real-time search, and consistent user lists across modules, managing posts and contributors is now instant. This improves workflow speed and collaboration when publishing to multiple community accounts simultaneously.

Introducing New Templates

HighLevel released a new set of website, funnel, email, form, survey, social, and ad templates, plus a fresh Snapshot. The new designs span categories like Health & Wellness, Coaching, Finance, Real Estate, and more. Each template is mobile-optimized and customizable to accelerate launch times.

Quizzes — Map Quiz Results Directly to CRM Custom Fields

Quiz results can now be automatically mapped to CRM custom fields, giving structured, reusable data for segmentation and automations. The system creates fields for overall and category-level scores and updates them in real time for each submission. This eliminates manual tagging and makes quiz data actionable for workflows, personalized follow-ups, and reporting. It’s a massive leap toward data-driven personalization in marketing automation.

Dashboard Summary AI

Dashboards now include AI-powered summaries and insights, transforming static data into actionable intelligence. Users can generate automatic summaries, detect trends, and even ask follow-up questions to explore deeper. Widget-level AI explains performance changes and suggests next steps. This makes dashboards interactive, helping users interpret analytics faster and make better decisions with less manual analysis.

WhatsApp Coexistence – Expanded Global Rollout

The WhatsApp Coexistence feature now supports a global rollout, allowing businesses to connect their existing WhatsApp Business App to HighLevel CRM—even for Indian numbers. It enables dual-platform messaging with synced chat history, bulk messaging, and workflow automation, all while remaining compliant with Meta Cloud API policies. Businesses can now enjoy CRM automation without losing the native WhatsApp app experience.

WhatsApp Policy Update: Business Solution Terms and AI Use

Meta’s new WhatsApp Business Solution Terms (effective January 15, 2026) clarify rules around AI and data use. External LLMs (like OpenAI or Anthropic) are prohibited from training on WhatsApp data, ensuring privacy and compliance. HighLevel’s Conversation AI remains fully compliant—processing data within its own infrastructure without sharing or training external models. Users can continue using AI on WhatsApp with no changes required.

Sites - Better Uptime, Performance and Reliability!

HighLevel’s hosting infrastructure now includes Cloudflare Edge Caching and Always Online support for improved uptime. Pages remain accessible during outages via cached or archived versions, ensuring business continuity. These enhancements deliver faster, more consistent load times and automatic recovery during downtime. Migrating domains to Cloudflare activates the new reliability stack with no manual setup needed.

Version Management System for Snapshots

Snapshots now include Version History and Management, allowing users to view past versions, compare changes, and track imports or refreshes. Each version logs modifications, offering transparency and easier debugging. It’s accessible directly from the Snapshot details modal, eliminating manual tracking in spreadsheets. Upcoming functionality will allow users to roll back to older versions.

This is long-needed and just in time as we're going to be rebuilding our snapshots from scratch given all the new features and UI updates in the past few weeks!

Snapshots: Modernized UI

The Snapshots experience has been fully migrated to HighLevel’s new design system. The UI now includes filtering, search, and calendar-based views for tracking creation and import history. It unifies the visual and functional experience across all snapshot operations. The upgrade improves performance, consistency, and workflow clarity for agencies managing large libraries.

Kollab Mobile App (Beta v2)

The Kollab Mobile App v2 has been rebuilt natively for both iOS and Android with 98% crash-free sessions and 10× faster performance. Real-time notifications, instant navigation, and optimized media playback create a smooth, native feel. Users can seamlessly switch between courses, communities, and live events. It sets a new performance benchmark for mobile collaboration within GoKollab.

New Courses Dashboard — Faster, Smarter & ClickHouse-Powered

The new Courses Dashboard delivers lightning-fast analytics powered by ClickHouse. It provides performance metrics, revenue insights, and learner progress funnels refreshed every few hours. Users can track enrollments, AOV, and completions in a clean, responsive interface. The update replaces static views with real-time analytics and paves the way for advanced drill-down reports and predictive insights.

New Course Creation Experience — A Complete UI Transformation

Course Builder has been completely redesigned under Courses Studio 2.0, featuring modern visuals, native navigation (no iFrames), and 10× faster performance. The new three-step creation wizard simplifies setup with previews and auto-generated sample content. A full-screen editor allows real-time updates and parallel course mapping. The revamp delivers a unified, responsive, and frictionless course-building experience.

AI Page Revision – Visual Reference Enhancement

Users can now upload image references when requesting AI Page Revisions, enabling the AI to analyze visual design intent directly. The system detects colors, layouts, and styling cues to execute more precise revisions. This upgrade bridges the gap between text-based prompts and visual creativity, drastically improving iteration speed and design accuracy.

Improved Search in Page Builder

The Page Builder’s Quick Add search now supports multiple related keywords per element. Typing “subscribe” shows the Form element, while “headline” reveals Heading, or “carousel” surfaces Image Slider. This improvement accelerates design flow and eliminates the need to memorize exact element names. It’s a major UX boost for faster page assembly.

Enable Image Attachments in Review Requests

Review requests now support manual image attachments for SMS and Email channels. Businesses can attach contextual images—like before/after shots or project visuals—to increase authenticity and engagement. This update personalizes outreach, boosts review response rates, and builds trust, especially for service-based industries. Mobile app support for attachments is coming soon.

Ad Manager - Audience Segments for Google Ads

Ad Manager now includes full support for Google Ads Audience Segments, enabling creation and management of Customer Match, Website Visitors, Interest, and Lookalike audiences. Users can build and apply segments directly within campaign creation flows without leaving the builder. This unified workflow enhances targeting precision and campaign performance while aligning HighLevel with Google Ads’ latest ecosystem.

Venmo Now Supported as a Payment Option via PayPal Integration

Venmo is now available as a checkout option alongside PayPal and Pay Later, adding flexibility for customers—especially mobile and younger audiences. The Venmo button appears automatically for supported regions without extra setup. It streamlines payments, boosts conversions, and caters to users who prefer mobile-first, peer-to-peer payment methods.

Communities - GoLive from Groups Directly

Admins can now Go Live directly within communities, hosting interactive sessions via video, audio, or chat. Two modes—Meeting Room for collaboration and Stream Software for broadcasts—support screen sharing, reactions, recording, and live chat. Built on Media-Core, it ensures stable, low-latency streaming and smooth participation from web or mobile. It’s a major step toward real-time engagement and community growth.

Notification Sound Option in Chat Widget

Chat Widget now includes a Notification Sound toggle, allowing businesses to enable or disable audio alerts for new messages. Enabled by default, it ensures visitors don’t miss chats while offering flexibility for quieter experiences. This feature gives brands finer control over tone and user experience across websites and landing pages.

New Pre-Made Badges Added to the Library

A new collection of pre-designed badges lets admins reward users for completing actions like submitting forms, passing quizzes, or finishing courses. These badges can be automated or issued manually, creating moments of recognition throughout the user journey. This helps communities and courses feel more interactive, engaging, and rewarding.
